Abstract

The study aims to develop a web-base discussion forum designed to enhance staff engagement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within academic institutions. The proposed platform facilitates effective communication among staff members by enabling the creation of discussion threads, posting of questions and comments, and participation in topic-specific conversations in real-time or asynchronously. Key features of the system include user registration, topic categorization, private messaging, moderation tools, notifications, and a search function. The forum serves as a centralized digital space that streamlines communication, minimizes email overload, and encourages teamwork across departments and locations. Through its interactive design, the system promotes transparency, strengthens institutional collaboration, and enhances productivity. The study concludes that implementing such a platform supports staff engagement and provides a sustainable avenue for sharing institutional updates, resources, and innovative ideas.
