Peer Review Policy

  1. Overview

The Journal of Statistical Science and Computational Intelligence (JSSCI) operates a rigorous, transparent, and ethically grounded peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research. The journal adheres to internationally recognized editorial and publication standards consistent with best practices.

  1. Type of Peer Review

JSSCI employs a single-blind peer review system:

  • Reviewers remain anonymous to authors.
  • Authors’ identities are visible to reviewers.
  • Editorial decisions are made independently of institutional, geographic, or personal bias.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant subject area.

  1. Initial Editorial Screening

All submissions undergo an initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Associate Editor to assess:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Originality and contribution
  • Compliance with formatting guidelines
  • Ethical compliance

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards may be desk-rejected before external review.

For revised submissions:

  • Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation.
